The new Nissan 370Z is a monster.
And, it’s going to be a massive hit with the masses.
The 370Z was designed by Nissan, with the help of an international design team, for the global car market.
And the result is an all-new, four-door, mid-engined, super-machina that will be both affordable and, well, insane.
It’s got a 5.2-litre V6, 4.0-litres turbocharged V8, and an 805bhp supercharged twin-turbo V6.
It’s got the same engine and turbocharger as the outgoing 370Z, and it’s got more power and torque.
But there’s also more in common with the 370Z than the previous car, because the car has a carbon-fibre body and a carbon fibre chassis.
Nissan’s designers have done this in order to maximise the cabin’s interior space and reduce weight.
The car has an 8-speed automatic transmission, and there’s a 7.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack that packs up to 450kWh, which can be charged in 60 minutes, and a range of up to 100 kilometres on a single charge.
Nissan says the car can be fully charged in about 90 minutes.
The interior is made up of carbon fibre and aluminium panels, with carbon-reinforced plastics on the outside and carbon-polymer on the inside.
The front fascia is made of carbon-glass, and the rear is made out of carbon and aluminium.
And then there’s the roof.
It features an array of carbon fiber panels and a black-tinted roof that has a silver trim.
It can also be driven as a sporty sports car, with a six-speed manual gearbox, or as a daily driver.
The 3.0L four-cylinder engine has a top output of 310bhp and 295Nm of torque, and is rated at 6.4 seconds from 0-60mph.
It has a claimed 310Nm (miles per hour) top speed, which is also claimed to be quicker than a Ferrari 458 It’s also claimed a top speed of 207mph, and can reach 155mph (217km/h).
But the 370z has a 0-62mph time of just 4.9 seconds, and that’s on a standard, unmodified, 3.5-litrewith a 6,400rpm rev limiter.
In addition to its new engines, the 370 is also equipped with adaptive cruise control, which means that it can be steered in any direction, and has six-wheel disc brakes for traction control.
The 370Z has also got a heated front seat, with airbags and heated seats.
The battery packs are also capable of supplying up to a 5,000km range, which, combined with the high-performance electric motor, means that the car should be able to drive a total of up 10,000 kilometres.
The new 370Z comes with an array, of carbon materials, that are a combination of aluminium, carbon fibre, carbon-ceramic and aluminium alloy.
Nissan is also using carbon fibre to form the rear bumper, as well as the front bumper.
The car also has a rear wing and winglets, a rear spoiler and rear winglets.
Nissan’s designers say that the new 370z will be the world’s lightest car, and because of this, it should be incredibly efficient.
The company says that it’s been able to squeeze every ounce of performance out of its latest 370z.
The result is a car that can be driven in under 2.5 minutes, which we reckon is impressive.
And it’s so efficient that, according to the BBC, it can go 0-100mph in just 6.9sec and cruise at 190mph.
It will go on sale in 2021, with an expected range of between 800 and 1,000 miles.
But the car is also available as a limited edition model, and as a special edition for the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
