The Delaware State Department of Transportation (DSDOT) has announced that the license plate for a driver is mandatory for them to be registered.
The plate has been designed to be used by anyone in Delaware who has a Delaware state identification card.
This is the first time that the Delaware DMV has required a license plate in the State of Delaware.
It has been a longstanding tradition for the State to issue a license to those who have passed the Delaware Driver and Vehicle Safety Standards (DVDS).
The new design, which is not yet finalized, has been created to promote safety and to ensure that drivers know where they can legally drive in Delaware.
The new license plate is a state-wide requirement and the Delaware Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will begin issuing licenses to those driving within the state on March 13.
What is the license plates design?
The Delaware State DOT has been using a number of different designs in order to make sure that the DMV has uniform designations for all license plates, regardless of state of origin.
According to a press release, the design for the new license plates was inspired by the license for a person living in the state of Delaware who is registered to a county in the United States.
This design was created for the purpose of reducing confusion.
The license plate design includes the words “Delaware State” on the left side and the words Delaware on the right side.
“This license plate will help educate and inform Delawareans about the safe and legal driving practices of the State.
The new design also serves as a reminder that drivers of all ages should be aware of their obligations under Delaware law,” said DTDOT Chief of Staff Richard G. Lautenberg.
Why is this a great idea?
The new Delaware license plate has the potential to bring people together, even if they are not DMV-licensed.
People who have Delaware license plates have a right to be aware and to be seen by others when they are driving.
Delaware has a high number of registered motor vehicle drivers.
The State has more than 1 million drivers on the road and about 70 percent of those drivers are over the age of 65.
According to the Department of Safety and Homeland Security, Delaware is home to the highest number of vehicle fatalities per capita in the country.
How many new license-plate designs are planned for the state?
In the first quarter of 2021, the Department will be issuing new license and registration plates to new license holders, with designs designed by the DMV.
New license plates will be issued to new applicants.
New applicants for a Delaware license will need to take an online test and pass a written test.
The new plates will not be issued until February 26, 2021.
Will there be a second license plate issued?
The DMV is planning to issue two new license designs in the first half of 2021.
They will be for those who will be required to be licensed by the state, and those who already have a license.
The second design will be a blue, two-tone plate with the word Delaware on it.
Do you think this will make Delaware drivers more aware of the law?
The Delaware Department has worked to promote compliance with the DVDS, which require drivers to be driving in compliance with all laws in the states that they live in.
As part of this effort, the DMV is requiring license plate readers and other devices to be installed on all license plate scanners in the DMV fleet.
It is hoped that the new Delaware plate will encourage drivers to know what is required to drive safely in Delaware and to have an easy time navigating the state’s traffic laws.
